The flexible material absorbs the force of impact and gently bounces back.
The Type 'H' Bumper Guard measures 39-3/8" long x 1 3/4" wide x 1 3/4" high, is a right angle shape perfect for those injury prone corners and is available in Black / Yellow. The Type 'H+' Bumper Guard is a little larger measuring 39 3/8' long x 2 3/8" wide x 2 3/8" high and is not only available in the Black / Yellow stripe, but also the Red / Reflective Silver stripe. The Black / Yellow combo works well for either Outdoor or Indoor use and has a Yellow foam core. The Red / Reflective Silver choice is Indoor Use only and has a black foam core.
