Parking garages can be a labyrinth of concrete pillars, posts and columns, ready to damage car doors and bumpers at a moment’s notice. We have all been there; in a rush to an appointment or meeting, paying no attention to the large pillar next to your driver’s door when, WHAM! Your door bounces off the cold grey surface, and you already know what awaits you once you exit your vehicle. “Who put that there?” you think to yourself. Columns, pillars, and posts are essential to the strength and structural integrity of underground and multi-story parking garages. Park Sentry column, wall, and post pads help eliminate that risk for vehicle damage by wrapping each hazard 360 degrees for full coverage and protection.
Park Sentry Parking Collision Protector Kits come in two versions: Round and Square. That means you can install pads on any hazardous area in above or underground parking lots. For circular columns, you should consider the Round Kit. Consisting of three panels that measure 39.3” tall by 27.6” wide and two 98” reflective adjustable straps, the round kit can fit one 24” diameter column with one layer of padding. Multiple layers can be stacked on-top of each other to increase the impact absorption. Grooves in the pads allow for the straps to hold each pad securely in place. Simply slide the strap through the buckle and tighten until snug.
The Square Column Kit consists of 4 reflective adjustable straps that measure 98”, 4 corners, and 4 panel pieces. One kit is designed to fit a column that is up to 24” square, but extra panels can be added to fit any size square column. Each panel measures 39.3” high and are divided into 1.6” cuttable segments to fit any size column easily. Both corner pieces and panels have channel grooves to help hold the pads in place once the straps have been snugly secured.
