Gate Arms are made to fit their corresponding Gate Systems, sometimes making them a tricky thing to replace when damaged. Whether you are looking for a straight or folding Amano gate arm, ParkingZone has you covered, and this week we are explaining the differences between the various models.

Amano Gate Arms can be divided into two families of products: Straight and Folding. Straight Arms are made from extruded aluminum, are 12 feet long, and feature black and white safety striping as well as a protective rubber strip along the bottom. Folding Gate Arms are great for garages with low overhead clearance and are made from the same extruded aluminum as the Straight version. The Folding Arms are Amano Gate specific so make sure you check which system you have before purchasing. The AMAL20 fits AGP-1700 gates, while the AMAL25 fits AMG-1700, and the AMAL35 fits only AMI-1200. All Amano Gate Arms have an option to get the Deluxe Upgrade, which comes with custom foam padding, and a choice of Velcro, elastic bands, or cable ties for installation.
