The Gorilla Post family of delineators is one of the most adaptable and customizable flexible delineator options on the market. You might be wondering what the base options are. We’re going to tell you about them, welcome to another Product Highlight Blog!

Gorilla Posts are available in a variety of sizes with five base types. Those base options include Magnetic, Quarter Turn, Drivable, Fixed, and Quick Release. The Magnetic base is our most unique approach to getting the Gorilla Post mounted. This uses high-strength neodymium magnets in the base, to magnetically attach to an ADA compliant zinc-coated steel baseplate that can be installed to the asphalt or concrete using epoxy and lag screws. The post is removed as needed using our proprietary removal tool designed to easily decouple the magnet tension between the delineator and base plate. Without the removal tool, the combination is nearly impossible to remove with over 350 lbs. of gripping strength!

The Gorilla Post Quarter-Turn, Fixed, and Quick Release base options are secured to the road surface with an 8-inch square urethane base. The Quarter-Turn base utilizes slots in the base to mount the delineator in position. With a quick flick of the wrist, the delineator can be removed from the base in seconds. The Fixed and Quick-Release bases are equally simple and are affixed to the base using theft-resistant Allen key bolts or a quick-release spring-loaded pull-pin. The Drivable Gorilla Post utilizes a metal tubing section as its anchor point in softscape surfaces, such as grass, landscaping, or gravel. To install, hammer the tubing into the soil and attach your Gorilla Post Delineator.
