Pacific Cascade Corp. has been providing and producing high-quality parking-related products and solutuons to customers around North America (and beyond!). When someone came to us with a request that was out of the ordinary, we took the challenge as an opportunity to design an all-new product based off proven technology and hardware. That eventually turned into the Gorilla Guard, a Magnetic Swing Radius Protection System!
The Gorilla Guard was designed, built and tested in-house for construction applications where swing radius and pinch point protection is crucial. The Gorilla Guard attaches horizontally to the steel super structure of any type of construction equipment without modification. Typically, 4 – 6 Posts are placed on the counter weight of cranes, diggers, and excavators in a semi-circle to cover part of the sides and back of the equipment. 360-degree coverage is also possible on your equipment by mounting directly to the outriggers and the feet of cranes and excavators with such features. The Loop Cap creates a continuous physical and visual barrier by using caution tape, chain, rope, or other materials conveniently attached with Carabiners. Gorilla Guard provides a safety solution that stays on moving equipment, keeping workers out of harm’s way while allowing operators to stay in the cab working. This reduces labor by not having to constantly move delineators, barrels, or fences around all day.
